Day Before the Race:
10:00 AM – Athlete Check-In
Participants pick up their race packets, which include their bib numbers, timing chips, and event swag. Volunteers are available to answer any last-minute questions.
11:30 AM – Bike and Gear Check
Athletes drop off their bikes in the designated area for inspection. Bike mechanics are available to make any last-minute adjustments, ensuring that everything is race-ready.
1:00 PM – Pre-Race Briefing
A mandatory meeting where race officials go over the course details, safety precautions, and the rules of the triathlon. This is also an opportunity for athletes to ask questions.
2:30 PM – Course Familiarization
Participants can take a light walk or bike ride around the course, familiarizing themselves with key landmarks, transition areas, and potential hazards. This is optional but recommended for first-timers.
4:00 PM – Final Nutrition Prep
Competitors should prepare their race-day nutrition, including energy gels, snacks, and hydration. A balanced pre-race meal is essential to ensure energy levels are topped up.
6:00 PM – Pasta Party
A traditional pasta dinner where athletes and their families can relax, socialize, and fuel up for the race. The event includes light entertainment and motivational speeches from past champions.
8:00 PM – Relaxation and Rest
Athletes are encouraged to get plenty of sleep the night before the race. A relaxing evening with light stretching or meditation is recommended to calm nerves and prepare mentally for the challenge.
Race Day Schedule:
4:30 AM – Wake Up Call
5:30 AM – Arrival at Race Venue
6:00 AM – Transition Area Opens
Competitors place their race-day gear in the transition area.
6:45 AM – Final Briefing and Warm-Up
A quick briefing with race officials, followed by a light warm-up.
7:00 AM – Race Start
The triathlon begins with the open-water swim.
Bike Leg Starts
After the swim, competitors transition to the bike leg.
Run Leg Begins
The final leg of the race—an off-road marathon through the forest.
Finish Line Celebration
A medal and race memento are awarded to all finishers, marking the end of an incredible journey.
Post-Race Refreshments
Participants enjoy snacks, drinks, and recovery options like massages and stretching. It’s a time to relax and celebrate the accomplishment, whether they’ve finished in first place or simply crossed the line.
Award Ceremony
The top competitors are recognized for their exceptional performance. Medals and trophies are awarded to the winners in various categories, including overall winners, age group champions, and the “Spirit of the Race” award.
